Around 2010 the Lord spoke a prophetic word over one of our elders that He was going to start a new work with him. Immediately after the word was spoken, through local evangelism, there begun to be new souls added to the kingdom and soon enough a small home group was formed. This home group was a part of a much larger Pentecostal church which was also broken down into small home fellowships who met on a weekly basis in a more intimate setting aside from their Sunday corporate gathering.

 

During the years of fellowship we begun to see the Lord enlighten our hearts to more of His Holy Word with the revelation of who He is and His prophetic plan for the church. After a season of about 13 years we saw what began as a mustard seed, grew into the beautiful formation of "The Christian Church of Australia, Sydney".

Along the journey, the Lord began to create bonds with other saints and churches around the world that also belong to one and the same church - Jesus' church! We are a part of a much larger fellowship of churches in many nations such as: Greece, Cyprus, USA, Bulgaria, Albania, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Germany, Africa, Georgia, Mongolia, Russia & Ukraine.

 

We've seen God work to change and prepare hearts for this new work with confirmation through dreams, visions and also multiple prophecies. It is God who starts His work in us as individual believers and also as a church of believers and He is the one faithful to finish it - Philippians 1:6.

 

In 2024, after a visit from our dear elder brother and Apostle from Greece, Themis Koulouris, God bore witness in each and every heart, confirming His will to officiate our home fellowship as a church under the spiritual leadership and guidance of brother Themis, with Anthony Kannis as the Pastor.

Our Lord Jesus Christ is faithful, He knows the end from the beginning, and has seen within His counsel the formation of His perfect church and bride since before the foundation of the world. He is determined to find her without spot and blemish and has commissioned His church with the power of His Holy Spirit to go out and to do the work of the ministry, until we all attain to the unity of the faith and the knowledge of God's Son (Ephesians 4:9-16).

Being in a multicultural nation as Australia, we rejoice in the diversity of nations we have and we welcome you from any background and origin. God's nation is one and in Christ we have been given a citizenship that is of heaven.
